Job Description

Riddle’s Group Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist to support multiple divisions in the management of accounts receivable, retail loan collections, credit underwriting, and credit risk decisions. This position plays a key role in maintaining portfolio quality while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

  • Use tools and teamwork to keep customer account data accurate and up to date.
  • Deliver friendly, helpful support to both customers and coworkers.
  • Connect with customers to resolve past-due balances on both accounts receivable and retail financing accounts.
  • Review customer credit applications and assist with credit approval decisions within established company guidelines.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness by analyzing credit reports, payment history, income information, and other relevant data.
  • Recommend appropriate credit limits and account actions based on risk assessment and company policies.
  • Help create win-win solutions that benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and assist customers in resolving financial hardships when appropriate.
  • Post daily payments and reconcile accounts.
  • Balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Great communication skills — written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to evaluate financial information and make sound credit recommendations.
  • A genuine love for solving problems and helping people.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service, collections, lending, banking, finance, or accounts receivable preferred.
  • Experience with credit underwriting, retail financing, or collections is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule

  • Full-time position
  • Standard business hours Monday through Friday
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support customers, collections activities, training, or business needs.
