What You’ll Do
As an Activities Aide (CNA) in our long-term care environment, you’ll be an essential part of our patient care team, helping residents with daily living activities and supporting our nursing staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Works with Activities Director, other Activity Department members, and Volunteers to provide a stimulating, enriching environment by providing a variety of social, educational and recreational activities to meet the individual needs of the Care Center residents.
- Assists with the planning and implementation of activities for residents.
- Assists in developing programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation and fulfillment; and improve daily living skills.
- Develops and conducts a variety of programs and activities for all levels of patient ability, this includes arts and crafts, reading groups, games, gardening, exercise programs, social programs, etc.
- Develops and maintains a good rapport with department members, other staff and volunteers involved with the care plan to cultivate a team effort in resident care.
- Interacts with residents, family members, staff, etc. under all conditions.
Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who We’re Looking For
- Active Colorado CNA license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of CNA experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
