Richard J. Daley College.

The Humanities Department is currently seeking a part time Art Adjunct Faculty to begin Fall 2026 Semester. Please note: This position may require fully teaching in-person, as hybrid schedules are not guaranteed.

Duties and Responsibilities 

·       You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed. 

·       Maintain office hours for advising, mentoring and coaching students. 

·       Development and revision of courses and instructional materials as necessary. 

·       Post syllabi and grades on Blackboard.

Qualifications –

·       M.F.A. in any of the studio arts (e.g., painting, photography, sculpture) or M.A. in Art History

·       You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.

·       Maintain office hours for advising, mentoring and coaching students.

·       Development and revision of courses and instructional materials as necessary.

·       Post syllabi and grades on Blackboard.

• The salary range is the following per contact hour based on education: Master's - $800, Master's +30 - $837, Doctorate/Terminal (including MFA) -$943. Offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement and applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
