Adjunct Instructor of Communication for Fall 2026

  

Carroll University seeks to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Communication for Fall 2026. 

 

Course: COM101 | Principles of Communication (4 Credits)

Section A: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 – 9:10 AM

Section B: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 – 9:50 AM

Section I: Tuesday and Thursday, 12:00 – 1:50 PM

Section J: Tuesday and Thursday, 2:00 – 3:50 PM

 

This course provides a broad survey of the communication discipline, with special emphasis on the application of theory. The course introduces students to the human communication process, in all its complexity across a variety of contexts including relational, public and mass media. 

 

Course: COM201 | Presentational Speaking (4 Credits)

Section A: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 – 9:50 AM

 

This course prepares students to speak in a variety of rhetorical situations. Students learn to effectively research, organize, and deliver speeches to varied audiences using multiple media. 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications: Graduate degree in discipline.

As part of your application, please submit  a cover letter, CV and examples of teaching effectiveness. If you have past course evaluations, please submit several that demonstrate your teaching effectiveness. In lieu of course evaluations, a letter from your current supervisor attesting to your skills in the classroom environment.
