Job Description
The Adjunct Instructor reports to the Undergraduate Chair, School of Business. The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction in support of the mission of the School of Business and Lincoln Memorial University. Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in business or a closely related discipline from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline, or a terminal degree
in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution

Job Duty
Teach undergraduate business courses as assigned
Develop and deliver instruction consistent with approved course learning outcomes and curriculum
Organize and deliver course content using effective instructional methods that promote student learning and conceptual understanding
Maintain an active and organized course within Canvas, including syllabi, instructional materials, assignments, grades, and course communications
Develop, administer, and evaluate assessments that effectively measure student learning outcomes
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students regarding academic performance
Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student academic records in accordance with university policies
Submit final grades and other required academic reports by established university deadlines
Maintain regular communication with students and the Undergraduate Chair regarding course-related matters
Promote the mission, vision, and values of Lincoln Memorial University
Foster positive and professional working relationships among faculty, staff, students, and the university community
Comply with all applicable university, school, and departmental policies and procedures, including those outlined in the LMU Employee Handbook and the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Excellence (CTLE) guidelines
Participate in required adjunct orientation, training, and faculty evaluation activities
Perform other instructional duties as assigned
