Job Description

 


Reports to: Director of Federal Programs, CTE and Grant Administration 


Supervises: None


Term of Employment: 12 months


Salary: Office Support VI - 63


FLSA Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt





Qualifications:



  • Associate degree preferred

  • Graduation from high school and any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Preferred knowledge with budget management, LINQ Financial System, grant writing/reporting, Microsoft Office, Canvas and Google Docs





Essential Job Functions: 



  • Assists Director with assigning fund allotments for FY

  • Assists with day to day operations

  • Prepares reports and financial data for local, state and federal entities

  • Monitors all submitted purchase order requests and prior approvals to ensure compliance

  • Monitors purchasing cards for CTE and Federal Programs

  • Drafts financial and/or other reports

  • Purchases supplies and materials for middle and high school CTE teachers

  • Purchases supplies and materials for non-public schools funded by Title I and Title II

  • Arranges, participates in and implements conferences and committee meetings

  • Assists staff with travel, field trip proposals, purchases, budget requisitions, inventory, vendor services, contracts and reporting

  • Maintains hard copy and electronic filing system of all federal and state records

  • Plans and schedules meetings and appointments for Director

  • Retrieves, organizes and disseminates information to Directors, CTE Staff, Principals and Teachers

  • Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to data entry, photocopying, faxing, mailing and filing

  • Prepares and inputs required Federal and CTE Budgets and Amendments

  • Maintains accurate records in Title I Crate

  • Prepares monthly financial statements, PAR, and Time/Effort statements

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
