We are looking for an Administrative Assistant focused on building relationships through amazing service and communication skills. Must have a passion for creating a top-notch employee experience for the accounting staff. The key to this position is a strong working relationship with all team members of First State Insurance Agency.
Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
The Administrative Assistant will serve as a leader in the organization. They will be responsible for providing a variety of administrative support to employees and FSIA management.
Professionalism
- Scan and file carrier contracts and forms such as W-9, EFT, etc, once completed.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees or carriers by facilitating carrier licensing.
- Handle bank deposits for region and submit documentation to FSIA Accounting Department.
Accountability
- Process daily download for agency.
- Create and distribute various policy reports to FSIA staff.
- Review daily inbox reports received from Agency Revolution.
Initiative
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations for agency bank accounts.
- Send bank statements to the designated employee at each branch.
- Assist with the maintenance of agency data in management systems (merging clients when needed, global changes, updating personnel change requests).
Adaptability
- Assist with E&O update requests.
- Attend any agency meetings as directed by management.
- Other job duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Punctual with a strong attendance history.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years’ experience industry specific preferred (not required)
- Must attend educational opportunities to stay abreast of changes that impact the agency’s systems or processes.
