Primary Responsibilities of the Role

  • Provide administrative support throughout the firm 
  • Willing to work overtime if needed
  • Act as an extension of the Partner(s) they support by providing administrative support in order to best leverage their time. 
  • Responsible for many internal business disciplines, preparedness for meetings, billing, assistance with tax return quality control, CPE coordination, engagement letter creation and tracking, extension process, tax return assembly and assisting the admin team.
  • Handle some direct client communications.  

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication, administrative and interpersonal skills
  • 3 + years of experience preferred
  • Extensive proficiency with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat and electronic document handling
  • Aptitude for learning and working with multiple software solutions
  • Able to work independently, as part of a team and works well under pressure
  • Communicate in a professional manner at all levels and with all audiences with a sense of urgency
  • Understand and adhere to accounting industry, firm, and legal policies for quality, risk mitigation, confidentiality, and data privacy
  • Exceptional customer service, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a proven ability to take the initiative and take responsibility for completing your work
  • Prefer experience working in a public accounting firm

 

Salary Pay Scale 

 $45.00-50.00 per hour
