    The Branch Area Careers Center (BACC) is located in Coldwater, Michigan, and provides career and technical education opportunities to over 500 students per year.  The BACC works closely with community and business partners to provide career and college readiness opportunities for secondary students and to provide a workforce for continued economic growth in Branch County.

    Scheduled days will include all days the BACC office is open for business beginning 10 days prior to and continuing 10 days after scheduled student days with the exception of Winter Break and Spring Break will be non-work days.

    Requirements: 

    Qualification requirements which the Administrative Assistant must possess: 

    1. Education and/or certification:
      1. High School Diploma
      2. Associate's degree desired
    2. Experience:
      1. 2 years of experience in clerical field, including basic bookkeeping
    3. Other:
      1. Ability to interact positively to the public
      2. Computer experience with Microsoft Office and Google products
      3. Ability to professionally interact with students 

    Duties: 

    1. Assist all BACC students with the dual enrollment process including; KCC application, Accuplacer testing, and course enrollment.
    2. Travel to local schools to assist with the dual enrollment process and grade checks as needed.
    3. Maintain accurate records of KCC grades and track billing for classes.
    4. Enter College courses and grades in skyward for dual enrollment students
    5. Create Book List for BACC dual enrollment and early college students, drive to KCC main campus to pick up book orders as needed.
    6. Assist Early College Coordinator as needed.
    7. Assist with Early College application process.
    8. Monitor grades for dual enrollment and early college students weekly.
    9. In charge of Articulation Agreements and Student Articulation forms and transcripts.
    10. Assist students interested in RMTC classes with application, finical aid, and enrollment paperwork.
    11. Assist with enrollment with evening enrichment classes.
    12. Assist Student Services Staff as needed.
    13. Print certificates for student awards.
    14. Serve as a back-up person for the main office administrative assistant and manager.
    15. All other duties as assigned.
