Job Description
Position summary:   Responsible for providing administrative support for Goodwill’s Mission Services programs, staff and activities, as well as being responsible for data collection and management, referral-based department billing, and other reporting as requested.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Receive and log all incoming referral agency authorizations; verify accuracy of information.
  • Complete all reports and spreadsheets as required; provide weekly production reports to the Workforce Development Manager and Accounting Manager.
  • Track and maintain report due dates; complete reports for mailing and billing on schedule.
  • Maintain all client files, referral information and databases for Workforce Development grants and programs.
  • Conduct follow-up on billing questions and payments from referring agencies; report findings to Workforce Development management.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Mission Services and other professional staff.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to develop and update departmental training manuals, Power Point presentations, public relations and business development materials, and assist with company sponsored special events. 
  • Maintain mailing lists and databases of service providers and employers in the county area; prepare mailings to support new business development and community outreach.
  • Attend safety trainings and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and supervised work environment for all employees at all times.
  • Pursue professional career development through continuing education and training opportunities.   
  • Promote positive teamwork among co-workers.
  • Responsible for other duties as may be assigned.   
Qualifications and required skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records are essential.
  • Desire to work with rehabilitation clients, employees, and the public.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to employees and clients.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, accounting and payroll software, and other Goodwill specific software.
  • 3 years administrative or related experience required.
  • 2 years' experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
Education and experience: 
  • High school diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
