The Administrative Assistant I plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of an office by providing essential administrative support, facilitating communication, ensuring efficient workflow, and organizing tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to all staff, management, executives, and guests while emitting a positive attitude
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Maintain current filing system, while preserving its structure and function
- Knowledge of basic office management systems and procedures, along with willingness to quickly learn commercial and proprietary software operating procedures
- Conduct basic data entry within spreadsheets, along with commercial and proprietary software solutions
- Create and issue certain purchase orders and process company expenses for payment
- Demonstrate exceptional active listening, comprehension, and communication skills
- Retrieve, sort, and distribute all inbound mail and prepare outbound mail for pickup
- Aid all employees and management
- Ability to produce consistent high-quality work
- Provide general administrative support services
- Conduct routine basic cleaning duties
Required Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of administrative experience in an office environment
- Solid understanding of working on Windows computer operating systems
- General knowledge of MS Office software; primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word
