Description

SAIC is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Hanahan, SC location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to management and team members.
  • Prepare, edit, and maintain documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
  • Create and schedule transportation shipment request.  
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Assist with data entry and record keeping while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle routine correspondence and follow up on outstanding tasks.
  • Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma (Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Five (5)+ years of administrative assistant, office assistant, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Office 365 is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using office software, databases, and document management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or executive schedules.
