Parish Administrative Assistant - Secretary
St. Mary Catholic Church – De Pere, WI
 
Position Overview
St. Mary Catholic Church is seeking an, organized, and mission-driven Parish Administrative Assistant Secretary to serve as a welcoming presence of our parish community. This vital role supports daily operations and helps carry forward our Gospel-centered mission.  This position offers a competitive wage and benefits package, including tuition assistance, and an opportunity to work in a professional team environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Foster a welcoming, hospitable parish office environment

• Support parishioner and volunteer engagement through communication and outreach

• Maintain accurate data entry, records, and parish database systems

• Oversee general office administration, scheduling, and correspondence

• Coordinate resources and logistics for parish ministries and events

• Assist in preparing bulletins, newsletters, and parish communications

• Collaborate with clergy, staff, and ministry leaders
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers

• Commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church

• Prior office administration experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
• Wage Range:  commensurate with experience and qualifications

• Employment Type: 32+ hours per week
