Modesto City Schools is a Pre-K through 12th grade district, serving approximately 30,000 students. The District is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County, with over 3,200 employees. It is divided into three divisions: Business Services, Educational Services and Human Resources. Requirements / Qualifications
Modesto City Schools is offering a $3,500 stipend to current Administrative Assistants, in permanent status, to perform duties associated with training new Administrative Assistants to MCS. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Act as designated trainers for new Administrative Assistants at their respective grade levels
Provide and/or lead presentations in Administrative Assistant meetings on various topics and best practices
Review changes to policies or procedures that affect the work of Administrative Assistants, and provide training as needed
Review implementation of negotiated agreements that affect sites after consulting with appropriate District staff, and provide training as needed
Act as liaison between District staff and Administrative Assistants related to software updates/changes, and provide training as needed
Offer support for Title I monitoring, school site council funds and Single Plan for Student Achievement, as well as support with other budget monitoring
Develop, and update as needed, a training manual reflecting current practices and policies related to duties of Administrative Assistants
