As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficiency. You will work on implementing advanced manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational excellence and product innovation.
In this role, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Engineering team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain methods and processes in the manufacture and fabrication of Aerospace Wheel & Brakes. You will be assigned as a process owner for the Wheel & Brakes machining cells. As a process owner, you will become the subject matter expert to conduct process audits, provide hands-on production floor technical support, solving poor product yield, reducing scrap, and conducting dispositions of product non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and technology adoption.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and lead corrective actions.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 3+ years of Engineering type experience
- 2+ Years' Experience B/P reading including GD&T, M&G code NC programming, experience specifying cutting tools, fixtures, and gages.
- Experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies including automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control to drive manufacturing improvements.
- Experience with manufacturing software tools and technologies relevant to process design and control.

- Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
- PCPX familiarity
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experienced with Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Experienced with dispositioning of non-conforming material review
