As an Advisory - Deals - CMAAS - Director, you will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, transaction structures, and capital markets topics. You will advise clients on complex accounting advisory and financial reporting issues around deals and other transformational business events that may impact an organization's value. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will cultivate potential in others and actively collaborate across the PwC Network, leveraging collective strength to maximize client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Leading strategic advisory services in capital markets, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
- Providing technical accounting guidance and financial reporting solutions for complex transactions
- Overseeing the development and implementation of financial models and transaction structures
- Guiding clients through IFRS conversions and GAAP financial reporting requirements

- Possess advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, with the ability to apply standards to complex transactions.
- Utilizing Alteryx and other automation platforms to enhance financial analysis and reporting processes
- Driving business growth by identifying market opportunities and developing innovative solutions
- Mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the team
- Collaborating with executive-level clients to shape and direct client engagements
- Promoting technological advancements to create an environment where people and technology thrive together
- Adhering to professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements

-  Proven experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital markets, which may include areas such as (i) IPOs, debt offerings, private placements, and carve-outs, (ii) acquisitions, alliances/joint ventures, and post-deal accounting, (iii) restructurings, restatements, and bankruptcies, (iv) GAAP conversions and adoption of new standards, and (v) managing deadlines and regulatory requirements.

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 15 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Must possess CA/CS/CFA/MBA Finance or an equivalent accounting or financial designation with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
