Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Mid-level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Work scope may include the following duties:
- Proficiency with Go programming language and best practices or other modern languages
- Knowledge of Git version control
- Knowledge of Git workflows and branching strategies
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
- Understanding of distributed systems patterns and challenges
- Strong Experience with containerization and Docker
- Experience with testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior employees

Here's what you'll need
Preferred:
- Experience with frontend development utilizing Angular
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments and management in production
- Experience with Kubernetes package management utilizing Helm
- Knowledge of WebAssembly and wasmCloud or similar platforms
- Configuring and managing Traefik or other API gateways/ingress controllers
- Familiarity with observability tools
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Cloud platforms experience (AWS/C2S)
- Knowledge of security best practices in microservices
Clearance Required:
TS/SCI Clearance required to start this role.
Minimum Years of Experience:
BS degree from an accredited school and two (2) to five (5) years' experience.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
