Aggregate Sales Representative
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Aggregate Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Little River Materials products in multiple industries, ensuring customers satisfaction at all times. The Aggregate Sales Representative will report to the Aggregate Sales Manager. The sales team will ensure maximum market share while making every effort to garner the best price while developing as many new markets and customers as possible. As a company, we are committed to providing the highest quality materials with the best service and reliability for our customers at a competitive price. This position will require extensive travel throughout the area. The Aggregate Sales Representative role is based in Millbrook, AL.
DUTIES TO PERFORM:
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Assist customers in making the best selection of materials for each job or project.
- Call on and develop relationships with a select group of aggregate buyers in the market area to meet their aggregate needs while helping to achieve annual company sales goals regarding selling price, tonnage and sales revenues.
- Effectively administer and communicate quotes, sales reports, expense accounts, and any other sales data necessary to meet job expectations.
- Develop new customers and increase company’s market share and profitability in a given market area.
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing monthly/annual sales plan.
- Provide frequent personal contact with customer base to maintain the maximum market share of Little River Materials products.
- Effectively communicate with operations personnel to ensure plants are meeting customer needs and that proper inventory levels, particularly key products, are sufficiently maintained.
- Comply with all company safety guidelines and follow customer safety standards when traveling to job sites.
- Work closely with accounting personnel regarding new accounts and accounts receivable.
- Maintain contact with operations on material availability and product needs.
- Comply with company standards as laid out in company handbook.
