You’ll oversee 4–6 workstreams, own the end‑to‑end product vision, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, the SI partner, Solution Architecture, and offshore Agile teams. This role requires someone who understands the realities of AMI delivery integrations, data flows, remediation, testing, and the cross‑team coordination that keeps everything moving.

Start: Mid‑May Location: US‑based, with 1 week per month onsite in San Diego Environment: Agile, multi‑vendor, distributed teams

What You’ll Lead

  • Oversee 4–6 AMI/Smart Meter 2.0 workstreams and ensure alignment across the full solution

  • Own the product roadmap and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements

  • Act as the Business Architect for the program, shaping end‑to‑end solution behavior

  • Partner with the System Integrator and Solution Architect on design decisions and architecture alignment

  • Drive remediation and integration activities across MDMS, head‑end systems, field devices, and enterprise platforms

  • Coordinate with offshore development and QA teams to maintain delivery velocity

  • Manage dependencies, risks, and integration points across the AMI ecosystem

  • Support governance, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness

Requirements

Must‑Have Experience

  • Strong background in AMI / Smart Meter programs (AMI 1.0 or 2.0)

  • Experience leading multi‑workstream utility or large‑scale technology programs

  • Ability to function as a Group Product Owner or Business Architect in an Agile environment

  • Hands‑on experience with integration and remediation across AMI components

  • Experience working with System Integrators and architecture teams

  • Comfortable coordinating with offshore teams

  • Understanding of end‑to‑end AMI solution components (MDMS, head‑end, field devices, integrations)

Nice to Have

  • Utility industry experience (electric, gas, or water)

  • Experience with modernization or digital transformation programs

  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and data flows

Other Requirements

  • Must be US‑based

  • Able to be onsite in San Diego one week per month

  • Long‑term leadership role on a flagship Smart Meter 2.0 program

  • High visibility across business, IT, and SI partners
