Summary
Responsibilities
- Meet with business system owners and end users to define business, and operational requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Identify and establishe scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in systems across the organization.
- Create cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Create and manage models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide guidance to software engineers.
- Assist and provide guidance tomore junior business analysts.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 4+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT Business Systems
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field.
- Participation in and leading the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Knowledge of systems programming and associated activities.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
- Hands-on experience in the operation and analysis of data.
- Proven ability to envision system needs from business user interactions.
- Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives and how technology solutions impact the organization.

Physical Requirements
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
