The Analyst Labor is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting workforce and labor-related data to support organizational decision-making. This role evaluates labor costs, productivity metrics, staffing levels, and workforce trends to help optimize workforce planning, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with labor regulations. The Analyst Labor works closely with HR, finance, and operations teams to provide actionable insights that support strategic workforce management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret labor and workforce data including staffing levels, labor costs, overtime, productivity, and scheduling.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and forecasts related to workforce performance and labor utilization.
- Monitor labor trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Assist in workforce planning by evaluating staffing needs and forecasting labor demand.
- Support budgeting processes by analyzing labor expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with HR and operations leadership to develop strategies for improving workforce productivity.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership outlining labor trends and recommendations.
- Maintain and improve labor tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis related to workforce performance, compensation trends, and staffing models.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming License.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Mastery of Excel required.
- Candidate must have experience with financial planning, analytics, workforce management, or project management.
- Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in an office setting.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- May be exposed to smoke.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
- Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
