Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our maintenance team in the multifamily industry. This role is responsible for ensuring vacant apartment homes are fully prepared and meet company standards prior to new resident move-in.

The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance experience, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete repairs, replacements, and touch-ups to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
  • Repair or replace appliances, fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry as needed.
  • Patch and paint walls, ceilings, and trim to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Change locks and prepare keys for new residents.
  • Follow all applicable EPA and OSHA regulations regarding the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables, caustics, and Freon.
  • Work closely with Property Management and Maintenance teams to prioritize work orders and ensure timely unit turnovers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in multifamily property maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in using common maintenance tools and equipment.
