Job Description

Application Programmer II - ShopFloor positions offered by HL Mando America Corporation (Hogansville, Georgia). Provide IT support for production, receiving, and shipping areas, covering both hardware and software. Provide hardware support, including installation and troubleshooting of industrial PCs, IPCs, label printers, scanners, tablets, PDAs, and other equipment used in manufacturing and logistics. Provide software support including managing and supporting the GMES Global Manufacturing Execution System (GMES) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). Understand system functionality in order to resolve user issues. Make system modifications and understand shop floor workflows and processes to better support users. Participate in new production line installation, including setting up IT equipment and networks. Perform system modification and enhancement tasks using C# (Windows Forms), Java-based web technologies, Spring Framework, and Android PDA applications. Design, develop, and test PLC and OPC-based machine interface programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience performing C# Windows development
  • Must have one year of experience in each of the following:
  • Using MS Visual Studio
  • Developing web-based software
  • Performing PLC interface development
  • Performing manufacturing system project management
  • Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
