Area Sales Representative - Territory FL & GA
??Remote living in Florida
The Area Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales within an assigned territory. This role focuses on developing new business, managing customer relationships, and executing sales strategies to grow market demand.
You’ll track performance, maintain customer records, resolve customer issues, and build a strong sales pipeline through ongoing prospecting and relationship development.r opportunities through prospecting to attain the company goals of pipeline development.
Major areas of responsibility also include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and expand market share within your territory
- Travel 25–50% to meet customers and represent FAMCO at events
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Present and promote products to new and existing customers
- Manage key accounts and serve as the primary point of contact
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams and Manufacturer’s Representatives
- Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to leadership
- Manage travel expenses and stay organized with reporting
- Continuously improve sales approach and stay current on industry trends
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Based in Florida
- 2+ years of sales experience
- HVAC or related industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel
