Job Description
At SUNY Niagara, we believe every student deserves guidance, encouragement, and a clear path forward. We are excited to announce our new Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) program, an initiative designed to significantly enhance student success, retention, and timely degree completion.

As part of this important new program, we are seeking candidates to fill a key role that will help shape this initiative. If you are passionate about academic advisement, helping students overcome barriers, achieving their academic goals, and feeling a sense of belonging on campus, and want to make a difference where it matters, we encourage you to apply.

The ASAP Advisor is a grant-funded para-professional position in our FANCCC union. This position works closely with a cohort of 150 students to provide personalized support, academic advisement, and proactive outreach connecting them with resources to ensure timely graduation. Reporting to the ASAP Director, this role uses a case management approach to monitor student progress, promote retention, assist with the distribution of financial support, and connect students to campus resources that support their success.

Evening and occasional weekend hours may be required to best serve our students.
