Hiring immediately! BlackStone Security Group is looking for quality armed security officers to conduct officer duties fora range of sites in the Charlotte - Mecklenburg country area.

We have shifts covering all shifts from 1st, 2nd and 3rd and 7 days a week. As a Flex Officer, you can choose your own schedule to fit your schedule!

This position requires all hired personnel to maintain a high-visibility presence in order to prevent any illegal or inappropriate actions; officer qualities include, but are not limited to, professionalism, hyper-vigilance, developed discernment and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Protect client’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and appropriately investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate and detailed notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Maintain a professional appearance

Required Qualifications

• In good physical health
• Ability to obtain a NC Armed Security Guard Registration from PPS Board
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (6+ hours)
• Able to pass a background check (No misdemeanors/felonies within the last 5 years)

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• NC Armed Security Guard Registration from PPS Board
• Ability to make sound decisions and adapt quickly to circumstances
• 3-5 years of security guard experience
