The Asset Project Manager serves as a pivotal execution leader, overseeing degrees of operational deployment of modular office trailers and power generation assets. Empowered with decision-making authority, this role functions as the critical link between asset management and on-the-ground implementation—driving alignment, enforcing accountability, and ensuring operational excellence across cross-functional teams.
Role Priorities / Responsibilities:
- Field Guidance: Responsible for overseeing field setup and teardown, logistics, and asset deployment activities, with an initial focus on double-wide and triple-wide manufactured housing units.
- Liaison Role: Serve as the primary conduit between Asset Management and Operations, ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and feedback loops.
- Accountability & Oversight: Enforce operational standards and timelines, while holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivery and compliance.
- Decision Authority: Make real-time decisions informed by deployment configurations and emerging challenges that may impact customer requirements, ensuring a seamless setup and transition.
- Process Development & Training: Lead the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support scalable operations. Over time, take ownership of training future Project Managers and Operations personnel, ensuring consistent execution and knowledge transfer.
- Travel Requirement: Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout Texas, with occasional travel to other states, to personally oversee the mobilization and execution of housing projects.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the General Manager of Asset Management, with dotted-line influence over Operations. While Asset Management defines long-term strategy, lifecycle planning, and capital investment, this role provides oversight and direction to operational teams toward achieving defined tactical outcomes.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to achieve results efficiently and safely
- Modular Multi-plex experience a must
- Knowledgeable about industry and safety standards
- Demonstrates qualities of a leader and drives accountability
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Core understanding of modular mobilization and de-mobilization
- Strong knowledge of power generation and troubleshooting
- Local Travel around Texas/Oklahoma - home same day
Education or Certification required (if applicable):
- Associate’s degree or relevant technical training
- 5-7 years industry field experience
