Position Summary
The Assistant Clinical Director (ACD) supports the Clinical Director in advancing organizational initiatives related to recruitment, staffing, professional development, and clinical operations. The ACD assists with identifying and hiring qualified clinical staff, coordinating continuing education opportunities, supporting staffing and caseload allocation, and implementing organizational priorities while maintaining a minimum billable caseload.
Recruitment, Hiring, and Staffing
Review resumes and applications for clinical positions.
Participate in interviews for BCBAs and other clinical staff.
Assist with recruitment initiatives and hiring recommendations.
Collaborate with a Clinic Managers and scheduling teams regarding staffing needs.
Assist with assignment and distribution of client cases.
Support staffing coverage planning to maintain continuity of services.
Professional Development
Coordinate CEU workshops and professional development opportunities for BCBAs.
Assist with planning and facilitation of clinical trainings.
Identify training needs and communicate recommendations to the Clinical Director.
Promote continuing education and professional growth among clinical staff.
Clinical Operations Support
Support implementation of organizational initiatives established by the Clinical Director.
Assist with monitoring staffing and service delivery needs across assigned clinics.
Collaborate with Lead BCBAs and Clinic Managers regarding operational needs impacting service delivery.
Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain a minimum billable requirement as established by the organization.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
Active BCBA credential in good standing.
Active NJLBA credential in good standing.
Minimum of five (5) years of ABA clinical experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience.
