Description

Provides operational, clinical, and administrative leadership across CYFS programs and supports the Director of CYFS in achieving strategic, quality, compliance, and workforce objectives while advancing trauma-informed, family-centered care.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support day-to-day CYFS operations across outpatient, school-based, case management, crisis, and specialized services.
  • Provide administrative supervision and workforce development.
  • Monitor quality, documentation, access, incidents, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support redesignation, readiness and continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with schools, DMH, DCF, medical providers, and community partners.
  • Assist with budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of change leadership principles and organizational effectiveness strategies. 
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and family-centered service delivery systems. 
  • Knowledge of operational oversight processes and performance management.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and workplace technology platforms

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Master’s degree in behavioral health field.
  • Vermont independent clinical licensure (LCMHC, LICSW, Psychologist, LMFT or equivalent) with at least 3 years post licensure to meet supervised billing and Office of Professional Regulations requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years behavioral health experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.

CERTIFICATES/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
