Job Description

Summary of Position

Lionsgate has an opening for an Assistant supporting the Company's Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Corporate Development team. This role serves as an operational partner across business, legal, and corporate development workflows, ensuring efficient execution of strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the COO, General Counsel, and EVP and VP of Corporate Development, including managing complex calendars, coordinating travel, processing expense reports, and handling high-volume phone activity
  • Manage the legal invoice submission process, including reviewing and routing invoices to Accounts Payable, coordinating vendor setup, tracking approvals and payment timelines, and reconciling legal spend data for quarterly reporting
  • Help prepare materials for executive meetings, board presentations, and deal-related calls; take notes and track action items and follow-ups
  • Provide project management and operational support across executive, legal, and corporate development workstreams; maintain trackers to ensure accuracy and visibility
  • Conduct company-specific and industry-wide research, as needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in business, finance, or a related field
  • 1+ year of entertainment industry or finance experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with senior executives concisely and confidently
  • Positive attitude with a proactive, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with highly confidential legal, financial, and business information
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital tools and systems

Additional Requirements

This position requires five (5) days per week in office.
