Assistant Park Manager � Unicoi State Park & Lodge

Coral Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Park Manager to support the Park Manager and General Manager in the operational leadership of Unicoi State Park & Lodge. This position plays a key role in ensuring the efficient management of park operations, exceptional guest experiences, and the professional development of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the overall management and coordination of park operations, including staffing, budgeting, and inventory control
  • Support the design, promotion, and execution of educational programs, recreational activities, and special events
  • Maintain and protect the park�s natural, cultural, and historical resources in accordance with established standards
  • Deliver exemplary guest service and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors
  • Provide leadership, training, and oversight for a team of 10�15 employees, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Implement and uphold organizational policies, procedures, and Coral Hospitality standards

Qualifications:

  • Associate�s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, natural resources, park management, or related field; or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic operational environments while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
  • Commitment to safety, operational excellence, and staff development
  • Basic math and computer skills are a must (Microsoft Word, Office, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • First Aid/CPR/AED or wilderness First Responder certification preferred
  • Knowledge of trail maintenance and construction
