    Purpose:
    Provide leadership in developing, implementing and evaluating an instructional program appropriate to the needs of the students and consistent with the goals and objectives of the school and corporation. Major responsibilities include: discipline/attendance; curriculum/instruction.

    Qualifications:
    Dedicated to facilitating the development and implementation of an academically intense curriculum and outstanding instructional programs, as well as the commitment to maintaining a positive and safe learning environment. 

    • Valid Indiana Elementary Administrative Certification
    • Demonstrated knowledge in curriculum, staff development and evaluation
    • Knowledge of teaching methodologies and the ability to provide assistance and instructional leadership to teachers
    • Knowledge and skill in the application of statutes, rules, regulations, law, and school corporation policies affecting student and employee records.
    • Commitment to community and parent involvement
    • Ability to provide technology training, resources and technical assistance to teachers, staff and students.
    • Proven and effective communication skills
    • Commitment to technology and data analysis to support student learning
    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable
