Job Description
The Doctor of Nursing Practice (Post-BSN to DNP) Nurse Anesthesia program in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at La Salle University invites applicants to apply for a 9-month, non-tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor who will service as the Assistant Director of the program and teach at the graduate level in the post-BSN to DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program and across other graduate level nursing courses as assigned. The Assistant Director will support the Director and the organizational administration of the post- BSN to DNP program by participating in leadership and oversight within all aspects of the program including governance, didactic and clinical curriculum, recruitment, and evaluation.

This is a 9-month faculty appointment accompanied by a 12-month secondary administrative appointment as Assistant Program Director. The faculty and Assistant Program Director roles are interdependent and must be held concurrently; continuation in each role is contingent upon service in the other. While the faculty appointment is for the academic year, the successful candidate is expected to teach in the summer term as assigned to support program needs. Summer teaching assignments, workload, and any associated compensation are determined by the University based on programmatic needs, applicable University policies, and compensation guidelines. Under current University practice, summer teaching is compensated separately; however, such assignments and compensation are not guaranteed from year to year.
