Job Description

System Service & Engineering is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support our growing team in Lynn Haven, FL!

In this role, you will assist the Project Managers with day-to-day construction project coordination including processing invoices, generating purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, and tracking project documents and submittals.

 

AS AN ELECTRICAL ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER, YOU WILL:

  • Prepare, process, and update project submittals
  • Process invoices and enter data into purchase order log for Project Manager approval
  • Generate purchase orders for vendors and subcontractors
  • Assist Project Managers with coordinating and developing schedules, project outages, and safety documents
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee project activities from start to finish
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are understood and met
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes
  • Assist with procurement and management of project materials and resources
  • Collaborate and cross train with payroll team to ensure accuracy
  • Provide support to estimating department as needed

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 2+ years of experience in assistant project management, construction, or a related industry
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software and tools (e.g., Excel, MS Project, Procore, or similar)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
