Position Summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure (SEGI) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Project Managers and project teams in the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of projects. This role assists with project controls, procurement coordination, scheduling, documentation, client communication, and project reporting to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

The Assistant Project Manager works closely with engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication, commissioning, and administrative teams while gaining experience in all phases of project execution. While industrial or EPC project experience is preferred, it is not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with project planning, execution, and closeout activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, scheduling, and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate project documentation, client deliverables, contracts, purchase requests, change orders, and other project records.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between clients, vendors, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal departments.
  • Support procurement activities by coordinating material deliveries, vendor documentation, supplier communications, and project purchasing needs.
  • Assist with tracking project milestones, action items, risks, and issues while helping maintain project schedules and execution plans.
  • Participate in project meetings, kickoff meetings, progress reviews, site visits, and project status reporting.
  • Support construction, fabrication, commissioning, startup, closeout, and warranty activities as required.
  • Ensure project documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
  • Promote a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Preferred), Construction, or other technical degree from an accredited University.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in project coordination, project management, engineering, construction, manufacturing, industrial operations, energy, infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting industrial, EPC, construction, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or related projects.
  • Familiarity with project schedules, budgets, procurement processes, and contract administration.
  • Experience with project management or scheduling software.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or similar certification is a plus.
