Position Summary
VIVAIA is seeking a passionate and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading daily retail operations, driving sales performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager will help develop a high-performing team, maintain operational excellence, and ensure the store reflects VIVAIA's commitment to sustainability, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key leader on the sales floor and acts as Manager-on-Duty when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Support the achievement of sales goals, KPIs, and store performance metrics.
- Build strong customer relationships and promote brand loyalty through personalized service.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Leadership & Team Development
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching team members.
- Motivate associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide ongoing feedback, performance coaching, and recognition.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Store Operations
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and loss prevention practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Manage inventory processes, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
Business Performance
- Analyze sales reports and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
- Assist in scheduling and labor management to support business needs.
- Support local marketing initiatives, in-store events, and promotional activities.
- Partner with the Store Manager to execute company strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of retail leadership experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, fashion, or lifestyle retail.
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve performance goals.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with premium footwear or fashion brands.
- Knowledge of retail inventory management systems and POS platforms.
