Job Description

The Assistant to the Market President supports the executive by managing complex administrative tasks, confidential materials, and resolving office conflicts, allowing the President to focus on strategic responsibilities. This advanced role requires independent judgment, creativity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines, often leading others and adapting to a fast-paced environment. It is ideal for experienced executive assistants who are proactive, flexible, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

•    Answer phones, purchase/order supplies, and process mail.  
•    Manage timekeeping, book travel arrangements, and organize schedules.  
•    Review and edit executive correspondence.  
•    Handle special projects as assigned.  
•    Provide administrative support for Board activities.  

Qualifications

 Experience - 5 years clerical experience in an executive leadership level secretarial/administrative assistant position.

 Education - High school or equivalent.

Technical Skills and Competencies  
•    Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and business etiquette/professionalism.  
•    Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite programs, including building and maintaining spreadsheets.  
•    Effective time management, multitasking, and project coordination.  
•    Social perceptiveness, critical thinking, executive correspondence proficiency, and judgment/decision-making. 
•    Skills in monitoring/assessing performance.
