Job Summary:
The NewEdge Wealth Client Service Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional client experience by providing reporting, operational, and marketing support to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will work directly with clients to facilitate, monitor, and report on investments and services. Additionally, you will prepare asset allocation reviews, investment proposals, and customized marketing materials to support the advisor, prospective, and existing client relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Provide clients and their accountants with account statements, tax documents, and portfolio information while delivering exceptional service and responsiveness.
- Collect and review documentation required for client and investment onboarding.
- Monitor capital calls, subscription activity, and redemption schedules for alternative investments.
- Support account maintenance, cash management, and other client service requests in collaboration with the broader service team.
Investment Solutions
- Generate portfolio reports and analyses, including performance, holdings, transaction activity, tax summaries, income, and fee reports.
- Partner to develop customized marketing and review books for client meetings and business development efforts.
- Prepare asset allocation reviews and investment proposal materials to support portfolio recommendations.
- Document client review meetings, update CRM records, and coordinate follow-up actions to ensure timely execution of client needs.
Practice Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within CRM and contact management systems.
- Manage team calendars and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly activities to support operational efficiency.
- Apply knowledge of risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in support of client service activities.
Talent Management
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance industry knowledge, technical skills, and professional credentials.
- Communicate training and development needs to support continuous growth and performance.
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members to facilitate successful integration into the firm.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2–5 years of client service experience, preferably within wealth management or financial services.
- Series 7 and/or 65 licenses or willingness to obtain licensing while employed.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organized and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
