Job Description

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliation's, and closing activities

  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.

  • Oversee preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and audit schedules.

  • Manage external audits (statutory, internal, tax) and regulatory filings.

  • Monitor implementation and adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Track variances against budgets and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.

  • Support business decision-making with timely and accurate financial analysis and reporting.

  • Manage donor and grant financial reporting, if applicable.

Fund & Cash Flow Management:

  • Ensure optimal fund utilization and liquidity planning.

  • Oversee working capital management, including receivables and payables.

  • Support investment planning and long-term financial sustainability strategies.

Team Leadership & Process Improvements:

  • Manage and mentor the finance and accounts team.

  • Drive automation and efficiency across finance processes and reporting systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments (HR, Operations, Procurement) to align financial planning Lead system upgrades and ensure proper documentation and data integrity.



Requirements

  • CA / CMA / MBA Finance / ICWA or equivalent qualification.

  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian and International Financial Reporting and Accounting Standards, taxation, and compliance.

  • Experience in social enterprise, FMCG, sustainability, or manufacturing sectors preferred.

  • Proficient in accounting tools (Tally, Zoho etc..).
