  • Proactive Partner: You anticipate needs, solve problems, and support advisors with precision
  • Detail-Oriented: You manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and organization

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and client-focused professional to join our Personal Office team. In this role, you’ll serve as a right-hand partner to a Lead Advisor, supporting day-to-day client experience, financial planning activities, and relationship management. This is a special opportunity to work directly with seasoned advisors, and to transition a significant portion of clients from a retiring advisor. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is known for strong follow-through and service excellence.

This role can be based in our San Francisco or Berkeley office, with up to two remote days per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with the Lead Advisor, client service team, and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Own day-to-day client experience including meeting preparation, follow-up, and ongoing service needs
  • Support financial planning processes, portfolio reviews, and related operational activities
  • Act as a liaison between advisors, clients, and internal teams to address urgent requests and inquiries
  • Participate in and lead client meetings as appropriate
  • Coordinate onboarding of new clients in partnership with the client service team
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with internal and external professionals (tax, legal, insurance) to support client needs
  • Assist with new business development initiatives and practice growth strategies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies
  • Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 7+ years of related experience
  • Series 65 or CFP designation (CFP preferred)
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Naviplan)
  • Strong client service mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and improve processes
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of a credit and criminal background check is required

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this role is $133,000 – $183,000 per year. Compensation is based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. Many roles are also eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

Benefits Include a company-funded ESOP, strong retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare/dental/vision coverage, and generous Paid Time Off (PTO).
