The Role

We are seeking a product manager to join the growing product team for Fidelity’s private company VC Fund Administration platform, within Fidelity Labs. We are passionate about what we do and build products that tackle real world complexity. Our team delivers innovative technology, robust industry experience and expertise, and seamless service to our customers. 


In this role, you will work closely with other product managers, UX designers, and developers to help define and deliver product features, and you will be responsible for documentation and business readiness. You will bring curiosity and self-motivation to develop your own expertise and knowledge to expand the team’s impact.


You’ll be responsible for a range of product and business readiness activities, including:

  • Validate and articulate clear product requirements 

  • Research project topics through regulations, competitive landscape, and other subject matter to inform product definition 

  • Define features and create product specification documentation

  • Draft or review product content for accuracy and comprehension

  • Conduct product acceptance testing and validation 

  • Document and demonstrate product features for training and knowledge sharing

  • Communicate release information to sales, marketing and support teams

The Expertise and Skills You Bring  

  • 3 years of relevant work experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Strong communication and ability to make complex concepts accessible

  • Familiarity with accounting and private markets (preferred)

  • Motivation to work collaboratively to drive product initiatives from idea to market

  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities

  • High degree of self-motivation and natural curiosity to learn new things

The base salary range for this position is $67,000-$127,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
