Monitors the flow of inpatient charts from the time of discharge until completion ensuring all discharges are coded and abstracted accurately using ICD-9-CM and/or CPT-4 codes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.


RHIA or RHIT certification
Minimum of 3 years ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding experience
Must have succesfully completed advanced coding seminars and testing coding competency
Successful completion of advanced medical terminology course (a must)
