As an Audiovisual Production Specialist, GS-1071-14, you will be responsible for: • Develops and implements strategy for Department-wide photography and video support with a focus on leveraging new approaches and technologies. • Implements project management strategies to create staff and content schedules that ensure the timely and consistent delivery of high quality photo and video products. • Leads the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Requirements You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-14, if you possess the specialize experience. Specialized Experience for the GS-14 One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-13 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments: 1. Experience with planning, coordinating, and directing complex photography, videography, and multimedia production projects from concept through final delivery, including developing production strategies, establishing priorities and schedules, managing resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual products that support organizational objectives. 2. Experience with developing innovative production approaches for projects, or resolving technical and operational challenges, and providing expert guidance on content development, visual presentation, and/or post-production processes, including one or more of the following advanced video editing, motion graphics, animation, and multimedia storytelling techniques. 3. Experience leading and coordinating the work of audiovisual production personnel and stakeholders by assigning and balancing workloads, implementing new policies, procedures, technologies, or program initiatives, and managing competing priorities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) The quality of your experience will be measured by the extent to which you possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs). You do not need to provide separate narrative responses to these KSAs, as they will be measured by your responses to the occupational questionnaire (you may preview the occupational questionnaire by clicking the link at the end of the Evaluations section of this vacancy announcement). 1. Knowledge of planning, coordinating, and producing complex audiovisual projects. 2. Skill in developing production approaches for projects without established formats and advising on decisions regarding content, presentation, resources, personnel, equipment, and production methods. 3. Skill in organizing, and leading teams to implement policy and program changes.
