F&I Manager – Douglas INFINITI, Summit, NJ

Douglas INFINITI in Summit, NJ is seeking an experienced, customer‑focused F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager to join our dealership team. This is a full‑time, in‑dealership leadership role responsible for all aspects of automotive financing, aftermarket products, and compliance.

Position overview

The F&I Manager will structure and present finance and lease options to customers, sell protection products, and ensure all deals are completed accurately and in full compliance with state and federal regulations. You will work closely with the sales team and management to maximize profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Present and explain finance, lease, and cash purchase options to customers in a clear, professional manner.
• Sell extended service contracts, GAP coverage, and other approved F&I products.
• Prepare, review, and finalize all finance and lease paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Secure financing approvals through a variety of lender sources and maintain strong lender relationships.
• Verify compliance with all applicable laws and dealership policies (e.g., privacy, disclosure, menu selling).
• Maintain high CSI by delivering a transparent, customer‑friendly F&I experience.
• Work closely with sales managers to structure profitable deals and support the sales process.
• Track and report F&I performance metrics (product penetration, PVR, approvals, chargebacks).
• Assist with training and coaching sales staff on basic finance concepts and product positioning.

Qualifications

• Prior F&I Manager or Automotive Finance Manager experience required (luxury brand experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of automotive finance, leasing, and insurance products.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding F&I performance goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and closing skills.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to full compliance.
• High level of accuracy and organization in handling documents and numbers.
• Proficient with dealership management systems and lender portals.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Work schedule and compensation

• Full‑time position based at Douglas INFINITI in Summit, NJ.
• Typical schedule includes Saturdays and evenings, Monday - Friday in line with dealership hours.
• Compensation includes demo allowance, base salary plus performance‑based bonuses; benefits package available. Anticipated annual income $100,000 to $120,000.
