Job Description:As
an Automotive Service Advisor at Castrol Premium Lube Express, you
will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers,
providing exceptional customer service and support throughout their
automotive service experience. Your role is crucial in ensuring
customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficient flow of service operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet
    customers warmly and professionally, establishing a positive and
    friendly atmosphere in the service area.

  • Listen
    attentively to customers' concerns and inquiries regarding
    their vehicles, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

  • Accurately
    document customer information and vehicle issues to assist
    technicians in diagnosing and addressing problems effectively.

  • Provide
    customers with information on available services, maintenance
    schedules, and repair options, explaining technical terms in a
    clear and accessible manner.

  • Prepare
    and present estimates to customers for service and repair work,
    including parts and labor costs.

  • Schedule
    service appointments and maintain an organized service schedule to
    optimize shop efficiency.

  • Coordinate
    with technicians and other staff to ensure timely completion of
    service and repairs.

  • Keep
    customers informed about the status of their vehicles and promptly
    notify them of any delays or additional work required.

  • Handle
    customer inquiries over the phone, email, and in-person,
    maintaining a high level of professionalism and patience always.

  • Upsell
    additional services or maintenance packages based on
    customers' vehicle history and manufacturer recommendations.

Requirements:

  • High
    school diploma or equivalent; additional education or
    certification in automotive technology is a plus.

  • Excellent
    communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to
    explain technical concepts to non-technical customers.

  • Customer-focused
    approach with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional
    service experiences.

  • Basic
    understanding of automotive systems and terminology, or a strong
    willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.

  • Organizational
    skills to manage service schedules effectively and handle multiple
    tasks efficiently.

  • Strong
    attention to detail and accuracy in recording and documenting
    customer information.

  • Ability
    to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Proficiency
    in computer applications and point-of-sale systems.

  • Previous
    experience in a customer service role or automotive environment is
    an advantage but not required.
