Job Description

At Capital Subaru of Greenville, we are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment a guest walks through our doors. We are currently seeking a professional, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services, helping guide them through the service process with transparency, care, and efficiency. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers required vehicle maintenance and repair services 
  • Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and inspections to help identify service needs 
  • Accurately assess customer concerns and recommend appropriate repairs and maintenance 
  • Clearly explain recommended services, timeliness, and associated costs to customers 
  • Schedule service appointments and efficiently manage daily workflow within the service department 
  • Collaborate closely with technicians and internal team members to ensure timely completion of repairs 
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and service updates in a prompt and professional manner 
  • Maintain accurate records for estimates, scheduling, invoicing, and customer communication 
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, repair recommendations, and maintenance schedules 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple service appointments at once
  • Comfortable using computer systems and software for scheduling, estimates, and invoicing 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
