We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Automotive Sales & Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, problem-solver, and sales professional with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through both service needs and potential vehicle sales, building lasting relationships and ensuring complete satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction:Greet customers promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and needs, providing clear and accurate information.
- Build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Service Advising:Schedule service appointments and manage the service workflow.
- Accurately assess vehicle issues and provide detailed estimates.
- Explain repair options and obtain customer authorization.
- Communicate with technicians and keep customers informed of service progress.
- Process service paperwork and ensure accurate billing.
- Sales Consulting:Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle options.
- Conduct vehicle walk-arounds and demonstrate features and benefits.
- Present and explain financing and leasing options.
- Negotiate and close sales deals.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build repeat business.
- Relationship Building:Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on service and sales leads.
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space.
- Product Knowledge:Stay up-to-date on vehicle models, features, and service procedures.
- Attend product training and workshops as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive service advising or sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Sales aptitude and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and automotive software.
- Valid driver's license.
