Service Advisor

Location: Mahwah, NJ 07430

Honda of Mahwah is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our growing and high-performing service team. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences, and is driven to achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and sales results.

As a Service Advisor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our service customers, helping them understand recommended maintenance and repairs while ensuring a seamless dealership experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle needs
• Recommend maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines and vehicle condition
• Communicate repair status and updates throughout the service process
• Build trust and long-term customer relationships through exceptional service
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
• Collaborate effectively with technicians, management, and other dealership departments
• Meet or exceed sales and performance goals

 

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience required
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and service sales
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment
• CDK experience preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office 365, and dealership software systems
• Team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic
