Job Description

Dead End Bakehouse is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Baker to handle our overnight production and make sure the case is fully stocked and ready before doors open.

What you’ll do 

  • Mix, proof, and bake breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to our recipes and standards
  • Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and toppings ahead of the morning rush
  • Monitor ovens, timers, and baking conditions to keep quality consistent
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and health‑code compliant throughout the shift
  • Label, date, and rotate product to maintain freshness and minimize waste
  • Communicate with the morning team about inventory, special orders, and low stock items

What we’re looking for 

  • Previous baking or pastry experience preferred (commercial or high‑volume is a plus)
  • Comfortable working overnight, on your feet, in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in consistent, great‑looking product
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive tasks
  • Reliable, on time, and able to work with minimal supervision
