What You'll Do

In this role, you’ll help create welcoming and well-executed events that support patients, staff, and the community. You’ll coordinate every stage of banquet and meeting services while ensuring exceptional customer service, smooth operations, and attention to detail throughout each event.

  • Coordinate and oversee banquets, meetings, and special events to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal departments on event planning, menus, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Maintain conference center schedules, online calendars, and event-related communication.
  • Assist with room setup, food service, event breakdown, and transportation of banquet equipment as needed.
  • Support invoicing, payment collection, and internal event charging processes.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards throughout all events.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned

 

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a highly organized and customer-focused professional who enjoys creating positive event experiences and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, flexibility, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, vendors, and guests. Success in this role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to event coordination and service.

  • Two to three years of experience in banquet coordination, hospitality, food service, or a related field preferred.
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification from an ANSI accredited program required within one month of hire.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and commercial kitchen operations preferred.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to become proficient in required scheduling, dietary, and healthcare software systems within six months of hire.
